MY CAREER INTEREST IN RELEVANCE TO MEDIA

 Ever since I was a kid I've been like this, I've been interested in drawing and creating art since childhood. It was almost certain for me growing up that I want to be an artist, which I still do but with my experience and knowledge that I gained my opinion has ever slightly been altered.

Since the chances of making in in life as a painter nowadays aren't that high, i chose to be a graphic designer. With technology increasing day by day and majority of the world using the internet, digital art has increased in value more than ever now.

When it comes to media and how my career choice relates to it, it's directly related as designing magazines is also a part of graphic design, as well as album covers, movie posters and CD covers.

Media studies has helped me exploit my art and design skills and learn how to use them properly in order to be able to do something big in life.

CREATIVE CRITICAL REFLECTION: INCARNATE

  Q1) How does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues? A1)Our film is a work of fiction, and doesn't essentially Target a social issue, but when it comes to depiction our film illustrates our idea on a very symbolic level. When I say symbolism, I mean how our film has provided slight hints to the viewers about the doppleganger itself,and is an abstract idea without a concrete explanation, which leaves it open to free thought and the viewer's creativity. When speaking about dopplegangers, it can mean a lot of things, such as split personality disorder symbolism where the charecter is same, but goes through a change in personality, as well as a fictional storyline where the doppleganger and protagonist are two different characters. Really it depends on what the viewer interprets when watching the film, and in my opinion that is the beauty of it, leaving the film at a cliffhanger keeps the idea open and possibilities endless.
